About Us

Established in 1928 by Elvira Sanson, the company originally supplied oriental rugs and carpets, for which there was popular demand at the time.

In 1945 Elvira's son, Francis, joined the business and quickly expanded the range of floor coverings and services the company offered.

In 1976 Costa Sanson, joined the firm and oversaw the company expand both its reach across the UK and its client base across a wide range of industry sectors from Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure and the Public Sector.  

 In 2021, Sanson Contract Flooring Limited was born, with Neil Hughes at the helm (who had been with Sanson for many years).  Now, together with our sister companies AJK Wood Flooring and Naturally Wood Floors, we offer a comprehensive selection of flooring for all sizes and types of project.
